My health insurance covered my bill. There was an issue with how one of Pathology Associates practioners was set up in the system with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas. THROUGH NO FAULT OF MY OWN. I was billed for money I did not owe. When I called Pathology Associates I was told I was responsible. That I "ran up" the bill. I was threatened with collections. I paid my bill in full in January. Then apparently my insurance wanted me to pay another $20.22 as co-insurance and the insurance company informed Pathology Associates of that fact in late February. In April I got the first bill for the $20.22 from Pathology Associates letting me know that I needed to pay $20.22 and stating that I was now in collections.
