Fraud - This is a double billing scheme. I reported them to BBB and the Federal Trade Commission. If you receive a bill from this company, think twice before paying and file a complaint against them with your medical provider. Also alert the Federal Trade Commission.
I have a new debt with Path group - I just received my third billing - and, I had to all them because I had sent a money order of $25.00 the first week of February 2025 and it has not been noted on the last two billings. Now, they are final noticing me - I will be final noticing them. Shame on them for not posting my payment and subtracting it from my bill. Shame on them for trying to threaten me if I do not pay - I DID PAY AND I WILL PAY A LITTLE AT A TIME UNTIL THIS BILL IS PAID IN FULL!!! OUTRAGEOUS!!
Avoid this business if at all possible. If you do have to go to Path for labs be fully prepared for months of headache dealing with the billing department.
January 2025 - I received a letter in the mail from a debt collector saying I had payments overdue to Path Groups, LLC. This came as a complete shock, as I have never received the first statement, invoice, email, phone call, etc. to even know I had an outstanding balance with them. This bill was from a lab sent off back in June of 2024 and I am fully paid up with the facility that initially sent the lab request. Holy MOLY. This billing department is atrocious. First, I waited 30 minutes for another human to connect on the line. I called because when I went to pay online, my physical bill differed than the online amount. The woman on the phone seemed helpful at first, but at the very end of the call her voice became very agitated and I could tell she was extremely annoyed at explaining these charges to me.
