Loved Dr. Patel. Very happy that I made the switch!
The reviews about her being cold are true. Not sure if that’s just her personality but her bedside manner is not the best (coming from a future nurse and currently working at a private practice). For someone who specializes in Endometriosis, the only option she really gives you is birth control - which had the worst side effects for me. Was rude to my mother (a different discussion i won’t get into) and when i ask for my medical records they sent 1 page. I was seen more than once and you only have one page? No progress notes... read more
Finally, a doctor who listens! I was so impressed by my visit with Dr. Patel-Shusterman! She was thorough, asked questions, didn't rush the visit, listened to my concerns and made me feel validated and not dismissed. Most of all Dr. Patel is kind, personable and knowledgeable!
I felt my concerns were heard and the appointment was not rushed. I appreciated the time taken.
