I was referred to Dr. Patel because I changed insurance companies. I was diagnosed with mild bronchiecstasis three years ago. Upon entering the office the first time the staff was pleasant. Nice waiting room and everything looks clean. I only waited 10 minutes past my appointment time. The doctor said to me, I will eventually get an NTM, which is non-tuberculosis microbacterium and not a good thing. That to me was an extremely defeatist attitude. Run don't walk to get out of this man's office. He recommended a procedure for my elderly mother and made it sound totally safe and it wasn't and now she is gone! He didn't take into account that she had scoliosis or was on blood thinners. She died unnecessarily because she had the flu and a UTI!! The most precious person in my sister and my life is now gone!

About 3 yrs ago I decided on Dr Patel as my Primary Care Physician and I wish I could say I've enjoyed the experience. I've been quite healthy and had no reason to go in until recently. That's when he said that since he hadn't seen me in about a year that he couldn't be responsible for my health, in essence, he fired me as his patient.
