Dr.Patel seemed like a competent doctor. His staff is horrible. I needed cataract surgery. I asked how much it would cost. I had to ask twice. Once in writing which was ignored, and once over the phone. Finally the office manager told me "$2500, well maybe $3000 including the surgery center and the anesthesiologist. But what does it matter your insurance will cover it.". It did matter because I have a large deductible. She did not tell me at that time that I needed a pre-op physical or expensive post-op meds.
