Awesome Indian grocery store. This is the store i visit almost 3-4 times in a week for our regular grocery and hindi DVD's.The lady working here is very friendly and greets every time we visit.The store has wide variety of Indian grocery items.The store is clean.They have sale during some Indian festivals.But i think they should held such sales more often not limited to few festivals.
Good service, Fair prices I've been in this store several times. I wouldn't say their service is extraordinary, but I wouldn't say that it is poor in any way either. It's exactly what I expect from any other grocery store. I usually don't leave reviews on grocery stores, since I don't feel it's something that is very service-oriented, but some of the comments here were shocking to me. Get what you need I was dying to go to Patel Brothers for my Indian grocery stuff, and this is the place I know I can find everything I want. I was not expecting any special treatment from them, but the old lady at the counter showed her concern when she saw I did not have a cart. I and my roommate booked a taxi back home but the taxi did not come up for 2hrs. The old lady came up for help and gave a number of a person who drives cab, which is worth appreciating. Shuned & Stared At! Judging by the cold stares of the patrons and having to say "excuse me" twice to an employee there who was standing less than 2 feet away from me, it was obvious this store does not particularly care to have African Americans shop there. I found the item I came to purchase and started back to the checkout but It was a weekend and I noticed that the line(s) were VERY long. Fortunately, it gave me a moment to think & realize it was not worth my time to wait in line & spend my hard-earned money in an establi... read more
bad service This store staff does not know thing about service unless you are Gujarati. Very rude people. They had rotten vegetables in front and if you are Gujarati they will give you fron back. And they had lots of stuff which didn't have expiration date on it probably cleaned it out. Since they have changed location its much more expensive.
