I have had Dr. Patel as my primary care physician since 1994. I am 51 now and we've been through quite a few ailments together. Doc and I mesh well and I trust him very much.
Dr. Patel and his Office Manager are rude and unprofessional. From the initial visit, the Office Manager was unfriendly and we were made to feel like a bother. The office is antiquated (no emailing or faxing of records) and messy. When the diagnosis required a Specialist, we were given confusing directions and when we needed clarification, we were told we were calling the office too much. A process that should have been quite simple was anything but. We will never return. Stay away!
My spouse a former patient due to demeanor of staff and doctor. I called to ask if they recommend an urgent care because my husband had physical discomfort that he never had before. and is one of Dr.'s patients. (37 second call). Staff demanded his name and I said I will leave it up to my husband to decide if he wanted an appointment. they gave a belligerent response and demanded his name. tried to call later that day to ask available times for appt and doc got on told me not to call again!
