Rude, pompous, terrible bedside manner as several other reviewers have said. I was unfortunately referred to him through unmc's oral surgery department after they damaged my sinus during a sinus lift and bonegraft. He literally laughed and scoffed after saying my "sinus will never be the same again" during my in person visit and then teased of an endoscopic surgery he could do to reverse what Dr. Tucker did to my sinus on a phone call but then changed his mind. I've been going to doctor Pate for 8 years and he is an awesome doctor hes a nice man and he has a good sense of humor! Please help me identify my sinus issues as well as my meneer's disease! He takes the time necessary to to identify all your medical needs with your medical needs with your sinuses and your head.
I have been to quite a few ENT's over the years. Dr. Pate is , by far, the BEST ENT I have been to. I have had the best experiences with Dr. Pate. He always answers all of my many questions. He explains everything in ways I can understand. He took the time to listen to all of my issues. He worked with me on different remedies for my ear issues. One of the things I really like about Dr. Pate, he likes to laugh and joke around. I love his sense of humor. I highly recommend Dr. Pate!
I love Dr Pate! After my old ENT left the area I was referred to him by my allergy doctor. I have AERD and he performed my second sinus surgery this summer. I’m very happy to be able to breathe again and the recovery was a lot easier then my first surgery. He is very laidback in the office I appreciate he answers all my questions and actually tries to get to know his patients. I look forward to my visits with him, not so much getting my nose scoped but him and the nursing staff are always so friendly!
1. never introduced himself. 2. I kept repeating the same answers to him. 3. He referred me for testing to find out the cause of my issue when I was in specifically for the exact cause. I know the cause, my doctor knows the cause, I told him the cause. 4. I wish I had read reviews on him on Ne Med website before I spent a copay on nothing. Just threw $60 in the wind. Do not recommend.
