Catherine is perhaps the best store employee of all time, across all stores worldwide :-). She truly sets the standard for customer service with her professionalism and care. And a big shout out to Patagonia for being one of my favorite brands of all time. They willingly owned up to a product defect and took care of me without hesitation. They’re a true example of what ethical business, strong core values, accountability, and genuine customer care should look like. Other companies could definitely learn from them.
The brand is exceptional I love every piece I have purchased amazing quality but the experience at this Palo Alto location is very poor everyone is very entitled and rude specially the ladies working at this location, Palo Alto is closer to me but lately i have prefer to go all the way to San Francisco people is super nice and helpful!!! Business is NOTHING without a good service!!!!

It's always fun to check out the new gear. Not that need anything new. If something gets worn Patagonia repairs it for free!
Event planning could use some work. This store ran a corporate sale event on 11/14/25 resulting in a line hafway to the end of the block with no information available online to the general public. When I showed up to return some items and initiate a repair I was told I would have to stand in line and wait ~30 min to take care of my quick return which I drove out of my way for. Im disappointed there was no contingency plan to keep normal operations running.
