Anyone Looking For A Good Bakery Should Check Out Pat A Cake Some of the best Apple and Peach Bread I've ever tasted. The fudge pie is also incredible.
Bakery I am the person that lost the dog the other two reviewers here talk about. The people here are fantastic people and they make fantastic products. I am lucky enough to pass this place often. They have a wonderful selection of pastries and the best apple bread around. I can't think of anything I've had here or bought for guests at our cabin that hasn't received rave reviews. Southern hospitality Several members of the Lost Dog Team from the Cairn rescue went to Ellijay to look for a missing dog on a hot August weekend. We had posted hundreds of fliers and got a credible sighting from a bakery customer. The shop owner was SO NICE. She let us set up a base there to fan out and search the area. She provided pastry and made phone calls on our behalf. She let us set live traps around her property and gave us encouragement. We can NEVER thank her enough for her kindness! Wonderful goodies and wonderful people. This place is a fond memory of a horrible period when we were searching for my lost former foster dog. The owner was so nice and helpful after other folks said that our dog had been seen running past her bakery. Of course baked goods helped us to keep our strength up for our searching. Col. Potter Cairn Rescue Network (www.CairnRescue.com) will always be grateful for the good food, help, and encouragement from this bakery.
Nice Variety Pat A Cake Bakery is located just south of town and offers a variety of options for Birthday or special occassion cakes. They have several different fillings, cake flavors, and icings. The cakes are very pretty.
