I stopped by Pasta Pomodoro after going to Barnes & Nobles. I wasn't feeling my finest (sort of that "really just rolled out of bed" look) and just wanted something easy and not too pricey. I read the reviews here and said, heck, I'm going to try it, no matter what. I sat at the little bar. The decor isn't too bad for a chain, modern and clean. Service can be slow, and prices are on the steep side. Ordered the bruschetta which was mediocre due to bread not really being toasted enough, and the shrimp and asparagus pasta which was actually pretty good and had generous amounts of shrimp. Overall not bad.
Why
Met expectations for a strip mall chain Italian style restaurant. Edible but not spectacular chicken marsala. Ok salad. Minimal wine selection. Good service.
