I need some vax for my trip to Africa. I immediately thought of Passport health as it was where I went when I visited Thailand. I did a google search and called around and found out DV HEALTH CENTER in Roseville and WALGREENS do travel vax too. Their prices are cheaper, although still expensive. 295 vs 442 for a yellow fever vax. For WALGREENS, there is no consultation fee. DV HC fee is $95 with a legit doctor/not LVN. I came to this site to get an immunization for international travel. I did expect experience in this area. I have an allergy that prevented me from getting a specific type of vaccine. I made sure the person I was speaking with was aware. She stated she had never heard of an allergy to the vaccine and I had to watch her use AI to see what it was and what was safe. The nurse was informative, and patient with ALL of our uniformed questions.
RN very knowledgeable. Was able to answer all questions and provided a multitude of information regarding my travel destination and recommendations for safety. Vaccines provided while at facility. Definitely recommend this place if you plan to travel.
