I booked Passport Health for routine travel vaccines and left feeling shaken and furious. During the consult, I was told—point blank—that without “a number of shots today” I could die. That fear tactic was followed by a bill over $3,000 for vaccines and add-ons. I walked out and got a second opinion at St. Luke’s, where I received an appropriate, evidence-based plan for about $800 (and I haven’t even filed insurance yet). Hole in the wall. The nurse seemed pretty lazy to be honest. We were late because it’s not easy to find and the parking is terrible downtown, but we waited in the waiting room for 5 min for him to tell us we couldn’t be seen because we were 10 minutes late. Said he was very busy, but he moved like a sloth so…Do yourself a favor and go to st Luke’s travel clinic. You’ll have a much better experience. Wish we wouldn’t have even wasted our time here.
Paul was absolutely fantastic! He was not only delightful, but also super knowledgable (and he is excellent at giving vaccinations). The entire experience was very professional and helpful, and we feel fully prepared for our trip now, thanks to his help!
Passport Health provided good information about the country I was going to, and about the immunizations . There was never any pressure to get the immunizations, and the cost was given up front.
