Filling out forms ahead of time is an efficient way to begin the process. We were welcomed and the appointment started on time. Explanations were thorough by Daniel with enough time to ask questions Shots. were expediently given — a bit costly. Taking trip with peace of mind.
Passport health New Haven is a a gimmick. No insurance covers them, and they don’t like you to know that… they try and push as many overpriced vaccines on you as they can. As soon as you show up, the appointment starts, and you’re locked in for paying. I highly recommend communicating through your insurance company first to figure out where you can get the vaccines you need (a quick search online should tell you) in a way that is covered by your plan.

Outstanding nursing staff who went over every detail about the potential illnesses that we might encounter on our trip to Kenya and Tanzania. This is my 5th time to Passport Health for travel vaccines to visit India and Africa, and they keep getting better. Convenient location in downtown New Haven. While the four vaccinations we received were rather expensive, I appreciate having them for our trip, and also getting a lot of information about how to avoid travelers diarrhea, which affects 79% of travelers to these countries.
