So yummy! Service was very fast.
What a disappointment. The food was pretty terrible. I had a pesto burrata salad and it was on top of a piece of crostini drowning in pesto green goddess. But the salad was undressed. And, it was hard to mix it up because the crostini was so big. It was a strange presentation. And now it is repeating on me. I also had the bolognese which had hardly any meat or sauce. I would avoid this place. The decor is pleasant and the waitstaff was nice. It also took an extraordinary long time to get the food.
Usually have a great time at Passatempo. The carbonara and potato pizza were amazing as usual. The burrata said it came with seasonal vegetables but all it came with was mixed greens. The overall negative from this experience was our service. We sat for 10-15 minutes before being greeted by our server. We gave our drink order and asked to place our appetizer order, and she walked away before we finished with our whole order. Had a wonderful meal! The seasonal gnocchi was fantastic and our server guided me to the Zozzono pasta…it was excellent too! Beautiful salads, very fresh, great dressings. Nice selection of antipasti and contorni too. Tiramisu and the Rhubarb Olive Oil Cake were outstanding. Overall wonderful dinner experience and kudos to Tara our server!! Definitely will come back and highly recommend.
From the fretting to the service our experience was as if we disrupted the staffs weekend! The food was mid level Italian and I feel that’s generous when the pasta was undercooked. Second underwhelming experience here in 11 months I won’t return :(
