WOW! I am so excited that great indian food in heart of Casco Bay!! Historic Portland is an amazing place to visit but it definitely is lacking in culinary diversity. I heard “passage to India” from Portland maps and Google Review. I decided to try it tonight with my friend. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating (only 3 tables), so we decided to sit outdoors at historic/ entertainment Wharf street. The menu is the perfect size. Best chicken curry I've ever had. Period.
I used to visit passage to india back in 2008. Oh I still miss the food. I was employed in Scarborough and the only Indian cuisine around was tjis restaurant. Butter chicken was just awesome. I hope I come. Some day to Portland and get chance to visit this place.
