unwelcoming and unfriendly. I was not even greeted upon arrival and was thrown into the middle of a group session on my first day with no welcome or introduction. No trigger warning for the topics that were being discussed btw. For a partial hospitalization this is just crazy to me and can really do harm for clients. Therapists have little experience and director is passive aggressive and talks down to you. She even took out her makeup remover/cleanser while I was in the middle of crying and venting to her??? My experience at Pasadena Villa, although not perfect, was very positive. The staff there are very knowledgeable and were very caring and flexible with me, and I saw this with other participants as well. At the time I started the outpatient program with them, they had experienced a lot of turnover and were doing what they could to keep things productive. When I gave them feedback on how I didn't feel things were progressing for me, they gave me options to move into a different group that might be better for me. This worked o... read more

My time at Pasadena Villa was truly life-changing. From the moment I arrived, I felt supported, understood, and cared for by an incredible team of professionals. I was at pasadena villa for about 1-2ish months after being inpatient. I did PHP and IOP. It was pretty okay! I really enjoyed their adjuncts (art therapy, music therapy, yoga, soundbath (naptime), and accupuncture). I think the experience was most dependent on whoever was leading groups. They are very respectful to patients which is something I appreciated because I’ve been to treatment centers that aren’t so I wouldn’t expect to run into anything too triggering from staff which is good.
