Have been working here for almost 2 years. People at PBC are so friendly and the culture is very dynamic and collaborative. For chemist: PBC has multiple fume hoods, bench spaces, and various analytical tools such as benchtop NMR, HPLC, IR, UV-Vis and etc.
The PBC has a great environment that fosters the transition of scientific concepts into the real world. The people who run the facility and work here are great to be around. I enjoy being here every day!
An excellent incubator to bring ones ideas into fruition. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a collaborative space that will help them to grow.
There are not as many incubators in LA as in the Bay area or San Diego for biotech startups, especially the incubators with wet lab capability; we did quite some search and visits before we decided to choose PBC, and it turns out we made the right choice: 1) PBC has wet lab space including benches, fume hoods, as well as cell culture rooms; the recent renovation even included installation of a cold room as well as a BSL-II cell culture facility; so it fits a wide range of biotech startups. 2) there are a lot shared use equip... read more
