Dr. Aneja has a wonderful bedside manner and was both thorough and patient in explaining my treatment options for migraines. My mom also saw her several years ago and recommends her to anyone who is looking for a neuro. I do wish that UPMC would work on their phone system, because it seems like all of their offices company-wide have complicated phone trees and long hold times, and not all offices even have the option to leave a quick message for the staff instead of waiting on hold.
I am very dissapointed with my visit to the office with Dr. Aleja .I waited 8 months for her to spend 10 minutes with me. She talked so fast and it felt like an assembly line. The assistant was not appropriate for working with the public. I received a 5 minute paper memory test which was ridiculous. My co worker went to a neurologist several months before and received the opposite treatment and testing for some of the same memory issues. I've had a phenomenal experience with Dr. Aneja. Simply put: I like her and I trust her. I've had some abhorrent neuros, competent ones, satisfying but robotic... she's probably the best I've seen across my experiences with neurologists at major hospitals in Miami, NYC, and Los Angeles. She's personable and takes her time (which means EHEM people: there may be an extra wait).
