I recently visited Party City in Waterford, CT and was disappointed with my experience. While the staff was initially friendly, the quality of service was lacking. The balloons I purchased had uneven strings, which was a noticeable flaw. One of the employees responsible for putting strings on the balloons seemed distracted, as evidenced by their conversation with a coworker about their no-call no-show and their voicemail greeting. The online ordering would not go through so I had to go to this store. Terrible customer service. The two guys working were bothered that I bought $100 worth of balloons, both helium and latex for my grandsons birthday. They grumbled to each other right in front of me that they had to do the work. They offered another customer assistance to her car with her small bouquet and sent me with no large bag or any help. I was not rude, but they treated me like I bothered them to do my purchase, which resulted in 4 balloons popping ... read more
