Sent my GF to get manual tranmission fluid. Had her call ahead, guy on the phone admitted its hard to find but was sure they had some, guy at the counter tried to sell my partner ATF (AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID) insisting thats what his system said it took and assured her that he "only drives manuals and ATF is what he puts in his", as a former AST id like the staff at the PARTS STORE THAT SELLS THIS STUFF TO PEOPLE to know, ATF (essentially low psi hydraulic fluid) cannot be used in place of MTF (gear oil) as it will dama... read more
