Worst Customer Service ever in the parts department. On July 6, 2026, I ordered and paid for two car parts (total cost with shipping was $127.41) from East Dallas Volkswagen (order # 18957876). On July 14, 2026, I returned one of the parts, an oil separator which cost $75.28 (RMA # 199597). The process was pretty quick and they were easy to deal with.
I have had the absolute worst experience with this dealership. I have taken my car there on at least 4 times for battery issues after getting a new battery in February of this year and they say they cannot find anything wrong with the battery!! but when I get the report summary it says the battery needs to be replaced!!!
Everything a dealer should be. After having trouble getting the car I wanted locally, I reached out to Garnet. Bob was responsive and found me the exact car I was looking for. Steve helped get the numbers in line and I happily drove 2 hours to go get my 2026 GLI. The car was prepped and waiting for me. Finance dept had the paperwork ready to go. In and out the door in an hour. I can't say enough nice things about this dealership and the staff I encountered there.

Great experience. I am not an easy customer but salesperson Naomi bent over backwards to get me the exact car I wanted at the right price. All said, It went great. They aim to please and earn your business. I know they earned mine!

The staff are friendly, which is the only reason this isn't one star. But friendly doesn't make up for a service department that won't stand behind its own quotes. I booked an oil change through the official myVW app, which generated a price of $69.95 tied to my specific VIN, model, and mileage. Before the appointment, I called ahead to confirm and was told directly: "if that's what the app shows, it will be honored."
