Amazing. I don't consider myself a connoisseur of barbeque, but I do enjoy it quite a bit, now Jake's may not be 110% Authentic, but for what it is, it is amazing. I tend to get the North Carolina Pulled Pork Platter and it has never disappointed. The pork is lean and the North Carolina sauce gets into your nose with the vinegar so much that it will make your eyes and your mouth water. Great BBQ My boyfriend and I go here all the time and love it! It isnt as packed as a lot of the other good BBQ places around town so theres never a wait. We even tried the cholocate covered bacon there once! I wouldnt reccomend it, but the fried twinkies are to die for!
Is this really Barbeque Let me start of with one of the worst dark beers that ever had. Then comes the confused waitress who thought she was working at Papa Gino's. What bother me the most that I ordered burnt ends and the waitress came back with some barbeque stew. The meat looked like it came out stew pot. It was horrible and I will never go there ever again. I suggest if you want real barbeque go accross the street to Bison County. My barbeque comes out better than that with a small weber grill and I will have my son help... read more
