What a treasure this little shop is. I was looking to get into fountain pens, did research online, almost ordered one, and then decided to Google whether any local businesses in SLC carried fountain pens. Fortunately, up popped Parry's! Owner Kent Parry patiently answered my questions, allowed me to try different pens, nibs, and ink, and gave me good advice regarding how to get started on my fountain pen adventure with zero pressure. Literally just left the store and I had such a lovely experience! Kent was super helpful and chatted with me about inks and even let me try some before I bought them. Another customer came in while I was there and he was just as kind and helpful. He carries some very quality materials, inks, pens, pencils, etc. etc. Please support this shop if you can!!
Great store for any office supply or stationery needs. I stopped by today because I wanted a specific fountain pen and couldn’t find the combination I wanted online. I’m so glad I didn’t, or else I wouldn’t have found this store. Mr. Parry was wonderful, patient, and knowledgeable. He had the pen I was looking for (TWSBI mini al in grape), swapped out the nib for me, and even had some other inks and rollerball pens I was wanting but didn’t think I would find in a physical store!
