I remember a counsellor Valerie Chase started off the session by bragging about her.education in psychology and then proceeded to state to me " well other kids have been through worse than you so give me something more difficult to deal with." It's just simply too damn inconsistent. I get that life happens, however, I shouldn't have my appointment completely screwed by mismanagement, after several communications, especially at times where I was struggling. On a few occasions too. Or just complete communication absence. Eventually, I just gave up, and stopped caring, because, why would I at this point? Jody is absolutely phenomenal at what she does. I had numerous sessions with 3 different therapists before finding Jody and she has helped me so much in so many different areas of my life! She has such a good way of helping you reframe your way of thinking and just truly cares for all of her patients. Not only have I been seeing her for years for counselling sessions but I have also recently started seeing her for medical sessions as she has completed her PHD. It takes a lot for most people to reach out when they need help and are struggling. It took me 6 months the finally send an email to get information and set up an initial appointment for a session through this establishment. Firstly they told me that cost was on a sliding scale, however I was never told how that was determined as they never received information about my income.
