Most recently our hearts were shattered with the passing of my beautiful 17 year old daughter and they were so kind and caring and understanding of our needs while we were experiencing our greatest loss. They are wonderful and professional.
On behalf of my family, we can't thank Shannon and the staff at Parrott & Wood enough regarding their professionalism, polite, caring in our time of grieving. They went above and beyond and lifted burdens from us that I feel that they did not have to, it was comforting to know that they were there every step of the way! Thank you all so very much!
Parrott & Wood is the only funeral home I would submit my loved ones to before their final resting place. They (Christine and her team) helped guide us in 2016 when our precious father passed, and just this month when our precious mother passed. Truly a compassionate, kind and knowledgeable group, from picking out the casket, the flowers, doing moms hair and makeup to polishing her fingernails, and also defining our mother's life in a short but poignant paragraph, her photograph, and music to play at her service. Very helpful and professional with my father in laws creamation. They were also the cheapest priced in Waterloo. I highly recommend them. Shannon was amazing helping us plan everything as well.
We had services for both my mother and father here at Parrott & Wood and they provided excellent service both times. In such an emotional time it was very comforting to have the support of the Parrott & Wood staff. They truly went above and beyond to make everything the best it could be given the circumstances. Even afterward they were very supportive true professionals. I HIGHLY recommend.
