I was a bit unsure before booking because some of the reviews weren’t great, mentioning bad smells, bed bugs, and cleanliness issues — but our experience was quite different. The hotel is definitely old-fashioned with a Victorian-era feel, and while it could use an upgrade, our room (337) was clean, tidy, and comfortable. There were no unpleasant smells at all.
