after calling for days on end the hospital rang us after my wife had blood test in the morning and was taken in straight away this delay could have cost her life so not happy and she is not out of the woods yet so fingers crossed she pulls through the system they have in place is not fit for purpose and dangerous for all concerned

Extremely difficult and complicated to get appointed and prescriptions. Rather than finding a solution you’re often just told sorry you’ll have to deal without the medication that you need.

I am very happy with the service. Each time I needed something, I called in the morning and got an appointment for the same day. When there's a queue, I ask for a callback, and they always call me back in less than an hour. All the doctors I’ve met are very kind and professional. All the nurses are super kind, especially when I don’t feel well. The ladies at the reception are also very kind and clear when they communicate. I always feel listened to by all staff members. Sure, it’s not ‘easy’ to get an appointment but I don’t know any other surgery where it is?! The callback facility to hold your place in the queue DOES work despite my reservations / cynicism. It saves a huge amount of time not having to leave a call open on hold music… Reception staff have always been polite & frankly they must have a lot of patience! Experience with GPs is mixed, however Dr L is the best GP I’ve experienced in all of my adult life and she is an absolute credit to the surgery.
