Beautiful place
I've attended events here, as well as just walk-in visits to the grounds. The gardens are lovely. I had a chance to take tea by the pool, and that was a first rate meal. It's not the most accessible location, so plan ahead if you have limitations. Also, if you're looking to go there just to take photos, call ahead and book an appointment. They are serious about that rule.
Had a wonderful Christmas tour with Chloe as our guide. She knew the answer to every question and brought history to life with interesting stories and context. The house is beautiful to visit during all seasons and this was my first Christmas tour. Highly recommended!
