Do not use the mouth guards given and constantly recommend by Dr. Sander. Mine nearly killed me. What you are never told is they CAN be swallowed. The temporary given is far more dangerous than the permanent and should never, ever be given to patients for use of any kind!! After swallowing the guard, a four day hospital stay and an 8 inch incision (with staples..yay!!) I am alive. Needless to say one star was quite generous. Go back to mouth guard school Sander. Never thought I'd like a dentist's office so much! Everyone is so nice and knowledgable. I feel like I'm getting great care from Dr. Sander and the hygienists, and Nicci is always so helpful. Would recommend them to anyone needing a new dentist!
I cannot say enough about this office… wow, beyond impressed! From the front desk rockstar, Nikki, to Evans, who assist the fabulous Dr Sanders. Outstanding, kind, professional and exceedingly competent care. I, who suffer a bit of dental office anxiety, felt comfortable and at ease in the practices care. Very grateful 🙏!
When I moved to Mount Pleasant I called around to find a new dentist that was well trained with TMJ disorders. At least two popular dentists in Mount Pleasant said that I should meet with Dr. Sander as soon as I started to mention having a TMJ history. Dr. Sander is extremely educated on all aspects of TMJ and dedicated to meeting his patients where they are and getting them to a better place.
