I was incredibly anxious and all the staff were super nice to me. I had never been that overwhelmed before and it helped that they were patient and didn’t make me feel like a bother when I know it was not easy trying to run tests for me. My visit to this Parkview ER was exceptionally poor, primarily due to the actions of one particular nurse. I sought care for a health concern, and from the moment of my arrival, the nursing staff's professionalism was deeply concerning. Upon my arrival, a nurse attempted to insert an IV into the side of my arm, causing intense pain. When I asked her to remove it, she returned to the room and informed me that if she did, she would "have to poke me again." If i have to have my blood drawn, I definitely prefer Parkview Southwest. They only have a few phlebotomists, and they all have several years of experience. Im not poked several times. Usually it's just one time and I am done. I have been poked up to 26 different times at other facilities.
