Feeling crappy led me me to this facility. Turns out I have Covid. Nurse Damien was so compassionate and caring, he helped make my visit more tolerable. 5 stars Damien!
My name is Jay Jones and I was in room 17 at Pueblo West Parkview. The staff on the floor was wonderful however their blood lab needs to get their act together. I just don't have the veins I used to and it takes the nurses usually two to three sticks before they get it. Two days in a row now they've called up to the floor and said that the blood clotted. I’m only rating this hospital base on ONE HORRIBLE staff member. “MELISSA” she is a case worker with NO customer service skills, and no empathy whatsoever! If by chance my husband or I end up there (park view Med) I will ask for another case worker. Melissa, you need to stay away from the public especially in the medical field. People who are sick, or just had surgery need someone to HELP and not be a huge obstacle for patients and in their recovery. GET RID OF HER! Very nice place, great nursing during day,night shift needs more attention they do what they want after hours, also nurse that orders equipment need more people skills she was not helpful at all.
