I have been visiting this office for 7 years and have not been in for the last 2 years, because it was not necessary. I was told that I needed to fill out a new application to see if I would be re-accepted as a patient.

My insurance made this place my primary due to proximity. I had filled out their application to see "if they wanted to accept me as a new patient or not". That was in early June. It is September 19th and they finally called to schedule. In no way is this timeline acceptable. It's a good thing I changed my primary months ago and have a great doctor in Pueblo West. The ones in Colorado City could care less about people.
One of the Physicians here Lynn Shields wanted to prescribe my mother Vitamin C to treat her COVID-19. My best friend had a kidney stone that he had to diagnose himself after Lynn Shields wanted to send him to physical therapy for the extreme pain in his lower back. She also refused to see me after I complained about constantly being referred thirty five miles away for basic medical needs, which in retrospect is probably the best thing that happened for my health.
