Took wife in july 27,2026 about 10 pm sever stomach issues. Receptionist was very rude and said ER rooms were all full, 5 minutes later go back and 4 empty rooms. First nurse was awesome, but after shift change nurse named Georgetta was over rude, didn't remove IV properly basically jerked it out, then said here your discharge papers and walked out. LaGrange ER must be where Parkview sends there failure nurses and DR too.
ER Nurses and doctors were rude. ER Doctor seemed uncaring and dismissed my abdominal complaints. Just tried to release me asap with nothing but a blood test and urine sample. Upon getting dressed to be released I noticed they never even looked at my urine sample... so I did myself. Turns out I had blood in my urine. Dr. then admitted me.
The only reason I'm giving any stars is that the Dr. ordered appropriate testing for my condition. Doctor and nurse were incredibly short and dismissive to me during my time in the ER. They wouldn't listen to my issues and acted as if they didn't believe me when I stated my problems. Refused to treat my pain even when I asked for non- narcotic options and dismissed me when i said Tylenol and benadryl were not working with a wave of the hand and a "well it works for me, so..." There are some staff members that are rude and very rough with the patients. Sometimes. You are seen right away. then there are times you have to wait for hour's to be seen!
