Called in to get a nudge bar, found the reception lady very rude and unhelpful then decided to take our business elsewhere.
Had Hayman Reese 3500kg rated X-Bar towbar installed on a late model 76 landcruiser at Parkside Towbars Welshpool. Discovered the same day after getting home that not 1 of the 28 bolts in the bar could be considered tight let alone correctly torqued. Clearly no use of a torque wrench used to achieve installation spec. torque values. One was only finger tight. A manifestly unsafe install that would unlikely have sustained a safe 3.5T tow or a safe recovery via the 4T/8T rated in-built recovery points. Clearly no pride in work... read more
I approached towards welshpool to fit a bullbar on my car. They sent me a quote back which was fine. Here comes the twist. After asking just one question I’ve got a email back saying “not sure what you don’t understand Denis”. Not very helpful at all and definitely not customer oriented. Based on the tone of the email I decided not to proceed and I was okay with the quote they gave me.
