I've had to travel to Geelong for work for the past 6 months quite often and even though my travel budget allows me to pay double the price, I actually go out of my way to book a room at Parkside every time. I don't know what planet some of these reviewers usually book accommodation on, but for $120 - $150 a night, the shower pressure is fantastic, the beds are comfy, location is superb and the service from everyone there is amazing. Located at 68 High St Belmont,you will find the best budget friendly motel in Geelong..the Parkside motel. Rooms are immaculate with the basic appliances to make your stay that little more comfy. With a major supermarket across the road and an array of shops,cafes and restaurants nearby,all within walking distance. Enjoyed a very relaxing stay for long weekend. Nice walk to cafes, shops, restaurants. Short drive to water front. Room was clean and room cleaning staff very polite. Will definitely stay again.
My wife and I enjoyed our stay here. Clean room, friendly staff and fantastic water pressure in the shower. The bed was quite soft and very clean. Excellent value for money. Will definitely be staying here next time we're in town.
