My husband and I had been eyeing and following up on this complex since 2015, just couldn’t find the right time to move. Finally retirement came and we made the move. We made the move during CoVid era in 2020 and needless to say we didn’t get to see the unit we’re moving into in actuality but only on virtual tour. I have lived at Riverside in the Harbors at Haverstraw since last June and believe my decision to move here was a great decision. People are friendly. Buildings and grounds are well maintained inside and out. The walkway along the river is picturesque and relaxing. In addition to the movie theater, gyms inside the building and the pools for use in the summer, there have been several activities and resident appreciation events provided throughout the year. It makes for a nice community feel.
Great place
Choosing Parkside was one of the worst decisions we’ve made. The property is poorly maintained, far from clean, and the staff seems indifferent to their responsibilities. Jose, the supervisor, may have a catchy phrase, but in reality, the service does nothing to keep a smile on our faces. Instead of a relaxed, laid-back feel, we experience constant frustration with how things are managed.
Just moved in! And I love it here :) everyone makes you feel like family and definitely feels homie!
