I spent 20$ on fuel to get there 7,50;$ to come in then they removed after 1 hour today The staff said to talk to Mickey, but she wasn't there. communist Canada this is a prime example how communism doesn't really work what a scam going on here ! have the tax payers pay for a wonderful facility that then not let them in. crime in port alberni is high because young persons have nothing to do. this is a root cause of social decay

Horrible that it's constantly being closed, not enough part time or full time positions being given to the lifeguards, resulting in the casual students not fulfilling their duties and not coming in. The public pays for these services and the parks and recreation is not providing them, due to cancelled swim time. It's absolutely deplorable that this ongoing problem has not been rectified with steady positions, so the public has to pay. The hot tub is so old too, that it's always out of service.
