Buyers Remorse I had the same experience as Tim L. I finally made a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. It is still pending a resolution to the numbers game they played on me. Do not buy a car from Parks Motors of Augusta, Ks. They charge $3,000 to $4,000 over the market retail of the automobile. The sales people, finance manager and the owner John Culver all are aware of this unethical sales practice.
Not good sales I was treated poorly by the manager/owner, when he felt I wanted more for my trade-in than he thought it was worth. He actually took my keys, refused to give them back until I had listened to him call another dealership to ask how much they would give me for my car! I was incensed! It was a horrible experience.
These guys are numbers cons! Stay far away from these crooks. They tell you how much they want to be your "friend" but will treat you with little respect and do whatever they can to pull the wool over your eyes. The sales dept will not work with simple numbers with you when trying to negotiate a trade and work a deal on a vehicle. They will always revert to typical shady car dealer tactics to make you think you are getting a better deal than you really are. Questionable service department We are under the impression that their service department is run by a bunch of cons and idiots. The last two times that we have taken our van in for service they have discovered a bunch of additional problems that didn't seem to exist until we got there. The first time my wife brought here van there there she had a concern about the front suspension making noise. They fixed the suspension and then wanted to charge extra for an alignment. Worst service I've ever recieved! Even the Owner John was very disrespectful.... but Bob Wooly... what a nasty guy!!! Total crook. He lied to use about repairs made to our car and saying they were done.... took it back a few months later and the guy doing the repairs said they didn't fix the problem last time....they didn't do anything to it. Now its out of warrenty and we have to pay for it... BAD SERVICE, DISHONEST, DISRESPECTFUL, AND NASTY! MUST BE A TRICLE DOWN FROM THE OWNER JOHN CALVER
