This lady only touch my neck and asked me why was I there. She classified me as delusional and said I had Morgellons and wanted to prescribe me psych meds and went on to tell me that a few other doctors said the same thing. I instantly knew that she read epic notes that doctors share and prejudged me prior to asking me my symptoms or history. Dr. Parks is a wonderful infectious disease specialist - she makes sure to explain her decisions and course of treatment in a way I can understand.
Dr. Parks is not only very knowledgeable but she makes you feel comfortable and spends more than enough time with you so you don't feel rushed out. I am still dealing with my issue but she consistently has a plan moving forward. Not only Dr,. Parks but here staff are amazing and also make you feel relaxed and cared for.
Professional, articulate, thoughtful, on time, and great doctor! I'm totally comfortable with her, and her office staff is efficient and they have personalities! Great experience with the whole team.
I was referred to Dr. Parks by my PCP to confirm if I had Lyme Disease as early bloodwork indicated. This is a vary rare diagnosis in South Carolina and we wanted to ensure I was being treated for the correct illness/disease. Dr. Parks took her time explaining the testing process to me, listened to and answered my questions and concerns and generally instilled a sense of confidence in me. Dr. Parks was very professional, compassionate and demonstrated a genuine concern for my well being.
I would easily recommend Dr Parks to anyone who was looking for an infection control doctor. Easy to talk to and never an excessively long wait to be seen.
