the store is closed thanks to sandy! we will probably be closed tomorrow. please be safe!
after 31 years, mr. & mrs. lee are finally retiring! be sure to stop in and wish them well. their last day is december 15.
two more days! the lee's will be at the store today and tomorrow. please stop in and say hello and goodbye. we found a very nice buyer, so the store will continue to operate beyond the 15th. since she has been doing some work for mrs. lee for a couple of years now, she is familiar with the business.
we made it through the last day! it was an emotional day saying goodbye to long-time customers, but we're thankful for the opportunity. thank you again for your patronage over the years. the new owner, mrs. lee (a different one), is excited to get started! i'll be continuing to maintain this facebook page for the near future.
Mr. Lee, who along with his wife, owned and operated Parklynn Cleaners for 31 years before retiring in 2012, passed away peacefully Saturday at his home. This Wednesday, there will be a viewing at 5:30pm and memorial service at 7:00pm at McCrery & Harra Funeral Home, 3710 Kirkwood Hwy. Wilmington, DE, if you would like to pay your respects.
