Parklands Resort Calliope 🤔 well folks it's not a resort at all it is a old hospital with roomsade into a motel room it is dark and dingy you get a queen bed tv shower and toilet... The restaurant is actually the old kitchen from the hospital and there is about 5 table to sit in the restaurant.... As far as parking you don't park anywhere near your room you park on the other side of the motel/hospital then walk about 5 minutes to your room along a lot of different corridors there is no safe parking there are cabins on the s... read more

July 2025 stay. When I walked in, the lady at the front desk just stared at me without offering any greeting. I felt very unwelcome. The hallways were quite dark and creepy. The photos of the room on bookings.com did not match the room at all. I expected a bright room with a large sliding glass door, modern (cheap) furniture, and a very clean room.
