Well below average. Stayed in a "Garden Room" and had roaches in the bathroom, the shower head did not work, the phone system was faulty and couldnt hang up after calling. The breakfast charge was $39 p/p and you get a better deal at McDonalds, the staff were rude (At breakfast, i was not able to to say my room number before getting interrupted by a staff menber saying that they need to charge me for it), i was told there was no "early check-up" even after getting it on email, i was made to wait until 3pm, and there was no l... read more
Absolutely Heartless Management Worst experience ever! The hotel refused to refund my booking even after the genuine demise of my grandfather. Despite providing proof, they showed zero empathy and kept making excuses. Totally inhuman, money-minded, and insensitive behaviour. Never booking here again! Guys you also don’t book it here, You have better options
Matilda at reception was so lovely & welcoming. They only serve breakfast which doesn’t have many options for vegetarians. pastries & danish don’t look very fresh & they don’t care for vegetarian & vegan customers even we told them in advance. Couldn’t serve the hot tea despite explaining three times. Very disappointed With breakfast. It’s not value for money.
The best thing about this resort was the location. At $500 per night it is quite expensive! It could easily be the amazing place it promised to be in its online advertising if the rooms and gardens were well maintained. The furniture was tired looking and the bathroom ceiling had mould on it. The bathroom extractor fan did not seem to work as every time you took a shower the bathroom would be totally fogged up & would take ages to clear. Parkland's was everything we could want in accommodation while on vacation - spacious, clean, comfortable rooms with spacious shower and quality toiletries; beautiful, well-tended gardens; top quality breakfast offerings in a gorgeous sunroom, and a bar and cozy lounge where we could enjoy a pre-dinner drink before dinner each night. The staff were all very friendly and made us feel welcome. We highly recommend Parklands Country Gardens and Lodges to anyone wanting a vacation in the Blue Mountains.
