I went to Parkland because I had a severe sore throat, low fever, sinus headache congestion, bronchitis and my ears were in severe pain. I was tested for the flu, Covid and a chest x-ray which is great but none looked in my throat, or my ears the two that hurt the most! I was told I had a virus even after explaining I was coughing up chunks of yellow and green ? I can't speak for other's experiences but, I had a good experience. I'm from out of state and was experiencing some chest pain so I decided to go to the ER and get looked at. Although they were busy, I was attended to and given a room quite quickly. Staff was kind and prompt. ER doc was nice and straight forward. Reassured me that I wasn't going to die. (My ER nurse was really cool and talked about shared interests from the shirt I was wearing.) All in all a good experience for me.

My experience at parkland medical emergency was way above my expectations. I could not breath cause of COPD and Influenza A virus, very caring staff, clean facilities and they made me comfortable,

I went to my local ER and they said it would be at least 7 hours to just get a few stitches, drove 30 min north to Parkland and they did my stitches in an hour and a half. They did a good job, clean facility as well.
