Was seen right away.
I came to Parkland emergency department yesterday morning with severe dog bites. I was very out of it due to the trauma of the event. The temperature was record setting below zero and windy. Given the bite wounds, I was not able to put a jacket on, and I went to the ambulance entrance by mistake wearing nothing but a t-shirt. Your ER doctor prescribed medication that when I asked multiple times if it would interfere with my other medication I was told a little. Ended up being a lot and a hospital stay. My attorney will be contacting parkland.
Not worth my time to explain my experience. I called customer relations, left a message, NEVER RECEIVED A CALL BACK. Parkland use to be my ER of choice, never again. I also requested an itemized bill with zero response!
I came in with my best friend who is in a lot of pain with a life threatening illness. Neither one of us have had good experiences in the e.r. when we came in, it was very busy, and had a while to wait, but when it was our turn, Heather was the amazing person who checked us in. She was so nice, and positive, and I could tell, that she genuinely cared!
