Seriously if I could rate it as 0 stars I would. This ER is purely unprofessional. They have very rude workers. There is this older guy working there his name is Gary, one of the rudest I have encountered. I went in because my kids Dr faxed labs to the hospital to get repeated, Gary yelled at me and told me that the faces don’t come there first it goes to Saint Louis first. Overworked staff. At times the waiting room is packed. By closing the old 2nd hospital bjc has absolutely caused this emergency room to go to the dumps. The staff is wonderful most of the time. But bjc needs to answer for how they have allowed this facility to be stretched so thin. When it was built I imagine it was taken into account that there was another hospital in the area. Now with that closed, and growth throughout the area. Its not enough. And patient care pays the price

2 star instead of 1 because im not sure if its normal but i called twice and was eventually hung up both times with no word from anyone, little concerning

The staff was beyond friendly and took great care of our son. They took time to explain his injury and next steps to both us and our kid. They were extremely professional and I would not hesitate to take another loved one here to the ER if they were injured in this area. Each person we had contact with was kind and knowledgeable.
