About this business
Joe believed that good food at a good price would bring folks in. He was right. We feel the same way. We still use only fresh ground beef and fresh chicken (and we're still using Joe's original Famous Fried Chicken recipe). The famous Parkette sign was built in 1957 and is a symbol of Lexington and stands as a monument overlooking New Circle Road., ready to serve all that pass by. The sign itself is a landmark and a point of reference for this section of the city.

We hadn't been to parkette for a while, and didn't realize how much the prices had increased, we were a little surprised. Our poor boys were good, but all our fries were cold. I've always loved going there for the nostalgic feel and the good food, but we probably won't be going back for quite a while.
Leland was waiter and he was great. Very attentive, very friendly. Food was great as it consistently is.
Being from out of town I like to try little places, and a co worker had us come here. Love that it was on triple d and the Deluxe poor boy was amazing.. Added some bacon and fries and I was in heaven... Cant wait to come back
