About this business
Joe believed that good food at a good price would bring folks in. He was right. We feel the same way. We still use only fresh ground beef and fresh chicken (and we're still using Joe's original Famous Fried Chicken recipe). The famous Parkette sign was built in 1957 and is a symbol of Lexington and stands as a monument overlooking New Circle Road., ready to serve all that pass by. The sign itself is a landmark and a point of reference for this section of the city.

RecommendedThe 4 of us had fried chicken(me) and others had different burgers and all food was delicious and large portions too! Our waitress Bobby Jean was attentive to our needs and had our order out much quicker than we anticipated. Great all-round experience and look forward to visiting again when we are in Lexington,Ky.
first time there and had the chicken dinner for the family it made me feel like i was sitting at my grandmas house for sunday dinner with the chicken flavor and the taste of everything definitely coming back

To be honest, I would come here every day if I could. The whole place is adorable, the staff is super friendly, and the food was delicious! The hot brown fries were our favorite!

Came all the way from Dallas, TX for a UK basketball game and our first stop was the Parkette Diner. We loved meeting Billie Jean. It was like eating with family. Great food, amazing atmosphere, and incredible staff. You won’t be disappointed.
Stopped in with my kids for our first time ever, it was absolutely delicious!! The food was amazing and our waitress was wonderful. We can’t wait to go back and take the entire family!!
