I have lived in Roanoke for a little over three years, I have been wanting to come to Parkers since the first time we drove by. So I was very excited. The decor was awesome it really makes you feel like you are at the beach. I found myself looking for seagulls. It's a nice casual place with good food. The building is shaped like a ship and restrooms very clean. The oysters were cooked perfectly.
HORRIBLE! I mean this place was a total RAT-HOLE. I complained and the owner came over and told us to leave. He was hateful and homophobic. He made some very rude comments about my boyfriend and me! He is a bigot and his food and establishment was terrible! I will get my fellow priders and make sure he is known for what he is! Spread the word ya'll!
Man where do i start. Fries soggy, fish had no taste, slaw nasty not good at all.Never will i go back.
I ate at parker's seafood a few days ago. I really enjoyed the lighthouse shaped building and the decorations inside. I ordered a bowl of chowder (it was excellent) and a stuffed flounder (also exellent). My fiance had fried shrimp she loved them. I would recommended parker's to anyone who wants a taste of real authentic seafood.
Went there tonight, staff was courteous and quick about things. Ordered Steak and Scallops this evening, was very delicious A++. Would recommend to others and my friends.
At my visits 2 Parkers the food is always delicious the staff is always friendly and in inviting and the building is unique and interesting!
Mediocre at best - do not waste your money! – Mediocre at best. We ate here a few years ago and it was pretty good. We were very disappointed this visit. We ordered fried mushrooms and zucchini as an appetizer. The zucchini was pretty good, but the mushrooms tasted frozen and bland. The sweet tea was barely sweet. My husband ordered seafood fettucini which looked microwaved and was also pretty bland. Go to Red Lobster Instead!!! The worst restaurant. Horrible food, and management! My family's experience was actually very upsetting to me. My husband is a local restaurant owner also, he would never treat his customers the way we were treated.
