I like it Most of the time the wait staff is on the ball. Sometimes it gets so busy that wait staff forget you. You may have to wait in line on Sundays.Good food for the most part. I eat there just about every Sunday. The managing staff are great people who listen to criticism and always welcome you in a positive manner. I have been there on the up and down days. Overall, it is a very good place to eat if you like BBQ. All of the food is good. When family comes from Pennsylvania, Parkers is their first stop. I recommend it.
Great Eastern NC Barbecue! Parker's is a great family place to go for southern barbeque. They have a number of family style menu items that are all you can eat for very reasonable prices. Families eat together all the time and are warmly welcomed from the youngest to the oldest. All barbeque is done in the eastern NC vinegar base style.
Corn sticks anyone? Parkers has the best cornsticks and brunswick stew in town! They are able to meet high demand with multiple registers and food comes out pretty quick. Be prepared to wait in line on Sundays, especially after church lets out! Prices are great and they now feature desserts from Your Perfect Cake (cheaper at parker's than at the YPC shop ironically enough!)
I love this Greenville staple. I go to Parkers every time I visit Greenville. It has been a tradition in my family for as far back as I can remember. The servings are huge. The food is good. Very good. I love the corn sticks. This place is what North Carolina is all about. Try it, you won't be disappointed!
It's okay Parkers BBQ is an old family owned and operated restaurant. Their bbq is okay, but it's definately not one of the finest found in eastern North Carolina. Prices are good, service okay. I actually enjoy the cole slaw and potato salad more then the bbq.
NC Barbeque This is a long-time favorite family restaurant with famous Eastern NC barbeque. The straight-forward restaurant is clean, the service excellent, the place is packed with locals and visitors. It is a must on a trip to Greenville. They have another restaurant on Hwy 264 Bypass. Dine-in, take-our, catering.
