Another company left us high and dry with a road base delivery. We called Parker’s and they were able to help us last minute. Very friendly staff and seamless service. The review below me talks about issues with quality and compaction - this was not an issue for us. It was a very good product. Call Parker’s first!
Great people, great service. You enter off of 300. Unfortunately they closed 300 at the freeway.
I am not sure if I got a bad batch or if this is the norm around here but I got about $2500 worth of 3/4 crushed road base delivered for a new gravel driveway last year. We removed the top soil and laid around a 4-6" layer of this road base. However no matter how much we wet it and compact it this stuff will not get hard. The company I had spread it and do the initial compaction even said the 3/4" road base that they usually get was much less coarse than this stuff and compacted hard as concrete.
